I've never actually seen the Lumière films in motion, so watching the horse move across these pages was a small revelation. The paper stock is thicker than I expected, so the frames don't bleed through when you flip fast.
Flipping through these frames really brings the Lumière brothers' early films to life—each page captures that gritty, turn-of-the-century magic. The paper quality is just right for smooth animation.
