The oversized pages and vivid color swatches make even abstract concepts like "color memory" feel tangible—I found myself flipping back to certain spreads just to stare at them.

As a designer, I've read a lot about color theory, but this book's visual approach made subtle emotional cues click in a way text never could. The way it connects color to memory and decision-making is already influencing my work.

I expected more text and less imagery, honestly, but the historical color charts are gorgeous and I've already flipped through the section on perception twice. The paper has a nice matte weight to it, though I wish a few of the swatches were larger so you could really see the subtle shifts.
