The flip action actually makes the silhouette figures move the way her films did, which I wasn't expecting from something this small. I've flipped through the Prince Achmed sequence probably twenty times now and it still feels like watching a tiny movie.
I got this for my animation-obsessed friend and couldn't stop flipping through it myself. Watching Prince Achmed's silhouettes come to life page by page is such a lovely way to experience her work up close.
