I've been reading this a chapter at a time and keep getting pulled down rabbit holes about symbols I'd only ever seen in passing. The 1928 text is dense, but that's exactly what I wanted from something covering this much occult history in one volume.
The intricate illustrations and diagrams throughout really help decode the dense symbolism—I’m learning something new every time I flip through a chapter.
The sheer breadth of occult knowledge packed into this single volume is staggering. I've been flipping through the sections on ancient mythology and symbolism for hours, and the quality of this 1928 original edition makes it feel like holding history in my hands.
