Thomas ★★★★★

McCarter digs into the smaller houses and unbuilt projects just as carefully as the famous ones, which is rare for a book like this. The photos and floor plans are printed large enough that you can actually study the details instead of squinting. It's a heavy brick of a book, but that's exactly what

Joseph E. ★★★★★

I've been flipping through this every night since it arrived—the way it balances Wright's famous houses with his lesser-known sketches is exactly what I wanted. McCarter's writing makes even the technical bits feel approachable.

The depth of detail in this monograph is fantastic — I spent an hour just on the early Prairie houses. Robert McCarter’s analysis really brings Wright’s lesser-known projects to life. A must-have for architecture enthusiasts.
