Gabby Dawnay is a versatile children's writer, poet, and scriptwriter known for her work on the popular CBeebies show Messy Goes to OKIDO and children's classics like Postman Pat. She has published numerous picture books, including A Possum's Tail, If I Had a Dinosaur, and Bauhaus Ballet, receiving accolades such as the Made for Mums Silver Award. Gabby is also a longtime contributor to OKIDO magazine and co-runs workshops for children with illustrator Alex Barrow. She lives in Brixton, London, with her family, two whippets, and an occasionally visiting cat named Pan.
