Miles S. ★★★★★

I read this over a few evenings and kept stopping to think about the idea that keeping things going matters more than making them. The writing is dense but warm, and the section on how maintenance is treated as unglamorous work felt spot on. Genuinely glad I picked it up.

This book made me actually stop and look at how I maintain my tools and home systems—the chapter on caring for a wooden handle alone was worth the price. It’s a slow, thoughtful read, not a quick self-help fix, and that’s exactly why it stuck with me.

Jason C. ★★★★★

I've been thinking differently about my old tools and furniture ever since I started this book
