Category: Memo Pads
Kizara memo pads are made by shaving individual sheets of paper from a single block of Japanese Red Pine. Each block is sourced through surplus tree thinning, an ecological process that promotes healthy, sustainable forestry in Japan. No two sheets are the same, making every note a unique memento. Each pad contains approximately 50 sheets.
I've been using this pad at my desk for a week and the wood grain on each sheet is genuinely pretty to look at. Knowing the pine comes from surplus tree thinning makes me feel a bit better about going through notes so quickly.
The sheets peel off surprisingly clean, and the faint pine scent that lingers is a nice touch. I like that the wood comes from surplus thinning, so it feels good to write on something that helped the forest stay healthy.
The wood grain on every sheet is genuinely unique, and the pine smell when you flip a page is a nice touch. It's a conversation starter on my desk, and the sheets peel off cleanly every time.
