Helicone Kinetic Sculpture

This mesmerizing kinetic sculpture designed by John Edmark was inspired by the mathematics of nature. Twirl the Helicone between your fingers and watch as it magically transforms between a helix and a pine cone. Constructed with laser precision from wood and brass, this elegant and surprising expression of the Fibonacci sequence would make mother nature proud.
