Henri Matisse Origami-sett

My niece is obsessed with paper crafts so I grabbed this for her birthday and ended up folding half the sheets myself. The pre-printed cut-out designs make it easy to follow along with the "drawing with scissors" idea, and the colors are gorgeous.

I bought this for a rainy afternoon with my niece and we ended up folding for two hours straight. The paper has a nice weight to it, so the cut-out shapes hold crisp edges instead of going floppy. She's eight and managed the folds fine with a little help on the tighter ones.

The Matisse cut-out inspired designs are such a clever twist on regular origami, my daughter actually learned who he was while folding. The pre-scored creases made the trickier folds way less frustrating than other kits we've tried.
