The pieces have that lovely matte finish vintage prints usually lack, and the interlocking is tight enough that I can move whole sections without them falling apart. I lost track of time finishing the border last night, it’s genuinely absorbing.
The butterfly illustrations are so crisp and rich that each piece feels like a tiny work of art, and the vintage-style box alone is worth displaying. Finally finished it after a few rainy weekends, and the fit is satisfyingly snug with no loose pieces.
The box itself feels like a little museum piece, and the pieces have that nice, sturdy matte finish that holds up to repeated assembly. I’ve done it twice already and the print stays sharp every time.
