The little motor is whisper-quiet, so the only thing you really hear is the paper flipping. My hummingbird sculpture actually flickers like it's hovering in midair.

The handmade paper sculptures feel surprisingly sturdy for how delicate they look mid-flip. Watching the mechanism turn still images into motion is oddly

The motor is quiet enough that I forget it's running until a bird flickers past in the corner of my eye. My niece sat and watched the pages flip for ten straight minutes, which never happens. It's a strange, lovely little thing to own.
