Bought this for my nephew and ended up hogging it all afternoon. The pop-up pinhole mechanism genuinely produces an image, which surprised me for something that folds flat like a normal book.

I've never seen a book that actually takes photos before—the hands-on demonstration of aperture and shutter speed makes the concepts click instantly.

The pop-up mechanism is brilliantly designed and actually works as a pinhole camera, but the instructions could be a bit clearer for absolute beginners. Still, it's a fun way to grasp the basics of photography.
