The ring finally slid free from the lady after about twenty minutes of twisting, and that little click of release was so satisfying. The metal feels solid and heavy in the hand, not flimsy like some cheaper puzzles I've tried.
Took me almost an hour to separate the ring from the lady, and that little moment when it finally slides free is weirdly satisfying. The metal has a nice weight and the bends are subtle enough that you can't just eyeball the solution.
The trick with the ring is all in the angle you hold the lady, not brute force. Once it clicked I actually laughed out loud. Solid intermediate challenge that took me three evenings.
