ハウス・オブ・カード

My kids spent a rainy afternoon building a whole tower out of these, and I ended up joining in. The vintage illustrations on each card are genuinely lovely, not the cheap clip-art look I was expecting.

The little slots are cut so the cards actually lock together instead of sliding, and my seven-year-old built a wobbly tower taller than the cat. The mid-century illustrations are the real draw though, I keep catching myself sorting through them instead of helping.

The cards are sturdier than I expected for cardboard, and the little slots actually hold the towers together instead of sliding apart. My kids have been building with them for an hour, and the mid-century illustrations look nice enough to leave out on the table.
