The hand shape actually cradles my wide-brim hats without denting them, which my old peg rack always did. Cast metal feels substantial in the hand, and guests keep asking where I found them.
I hung one by the front door for my keys and it's become a little sculpture on the wall. The cast detail is lovely up close, way nicer than the plain metal hooks I've had before.
The hand shape is surprisingly detailed for something cast in resin, and it holds my heaviest tote without flexing. Mounted two in the hallway and they look more like little sculptures than hardware.
