The aluminum playing surface is a real standout—it gives the game a modern, polished feel that photographs beautifully. I’ve already hosted two game nights just to show it off, and the way the case folds open makes it a breeze to set up and pack away.
The walnut case has that satisfying weight and smell you want from a classic set, and the way it snaps shut makes it easy to toss in a bag. Unfolding it on the table is a nice little ritual, and the contrast on the aluminum board makes the pieces pop during a late-night game.
The aluminum playing surface feels like a million bucks under the dice, and the way the walnut case folds open is just clean and sturdy. I've been leaving it out on the coffee table all week because it looks that good, and the contrast makes pieces pop.
