The mechanism genuinely caught me off guard — took me a solid ten minutes before the hidden panel slid open. Exterior finish is gorgeous too, feels like something that'll sit on my shelf long after I've solved it.
The inner chamber is way bigger than I expected — I fit a folded twenty and a small note in there with room to spare. Took me a solid ten minutes to figure out the hidden mechanism, and the wood finish looks great sitting on my shelf.
The mechanism genuinely surprised me — I had the lid off in two moves and then spent ten minutes figuring out how to actually open the compartment. Inside there's a decent-sized chamber, big enough for a folded bill or a small ring, and the woodwork is gorgeous in person.
