Took me almost twenty minutes to figure out the sliding panel sequence, and I actually yelled when it finally popped open. The mechanism is smooth enough that you never feel like you're forcing it, which makes the whole thing weirdly addictive. Already eyeing another one for my brother.
The walnut grain on this thing is gorgeous, and the sliding panel mechanism feels buttery smooth once you figure out the trick. Took my dad and me a solid half hour of passing it back and forth before it finally clicked open.
