The first time I dropped the ball through the suede-wrapped tube, I genuinely thought my eyes were playing tricks on me—it’s that eerie slow-motion fall every single time. The copper tube feels solid and the suede gives it a nice grip, so it’s become my go-to desk toy for when I need a five-second b
I’ve watched the metal ball take what feels like a full minute to drop through the copper tube, and it still messes with my head every time. The suede wrap makes it comfortable to hold for a long time, and it’s the best conversation starter I’ve put on my desk.
The suede wrapping feels surprisingly premium in hand, and watching the ball drift down that copper tube never gets old after dozens of tries. My kids fight over who gets to hold it next, which says everything about how engaging this little physics demo really is.
