Questo groviglio di metallo contorto è uno dei rompicapo tascabili più difficili della nostra collezione. Tre ganci vorticosi sono bloccati insieme in un nodo complicato. Non è necessaria alcuna forza violenta per separare i pezzi, solo una torsione delicata, un po' di scivolamento e molta, molta pianificazione attenta. Anche il grande maestro di rompicapo Nob Yoshigahara inizialmente considerava questo design impossibile da risolvere. Attenzione. Progettato e brevettato per la prima volta in America nel 1975 da Eldon Vaughn. Prodotto da Hanayama del Giappone.

Took me a few days of focused tinkering to finally separate the three hooks, but the moment they clicked apart was incredibly satisfying. The compact size means I can carry it anywhere and pull it out when I need a brain teaser.

The three hooks really are locked tight, and I'll admit I set it down more than once out of frustration. It's a solid little fidget to keep in a pocket, but after a couple weeks I still haven't separated them, so it's more of a slow burn than a quick win.
