I figured the outer ring would slide right off, but that unexpected path had me stumped for a solid twenty minutes. As a level four advanced puzzle it earns that rating, and the moment the planet finally dropped free was genuinely satisfying.
The trick to freeing the planet from the outer ring isn't force at all, it's a slight twist and lift I only stumbled onto after twenty minutes. For an advanced-level puzzle it looks deceptively plain on a shelf, but the solution path genuinely surprised me.
I figured a level four puzzle would take an evening, not three days. The moment the planet finally slipped free of that outer ring I actually laughed out loud. Way harder than it looks, in the best way.
