Dieses verworrene Metallknäuel ist eines der schwierigsten Taschenpuzzles in unserer Kollektion. Drei sich drehende Haken sind in einem komplizierten Knoten miteinander verriegelt. Zum Trennen der Teile ist keine Gewalt erforderlich, nur sanftes Drehen, ein wenig Gleiten und viel, viel sorgfältige Planung. Selbst der große Puzzle-Meister Nob Yoshigahara hielt dieses Design ursprünglich für unmöglich zu lösen. Eine faire Warnung. Erstmals entworfen und patentiert in Amerika im Jahr 1975 von Eldon Vaughn. Hergestellt von Hanayama aus Japan.

Took me a few days of focused tinkering to finally separate the three hooks, but the moment they clicked apart was incredibly satisfying. The compact size means I can carry it anywhere and pull it out when I need a brain teaser.

The three hooks really are locked tight, and I'll admit I set it down more than once out of frustration. It's a solid little fidget to keep in a pocket, but after a couple weeks I still haven't separated them, so it's more of a slow burn than a quick win.
