Ježek puzzle box

I spent almost an hour on this before the first walnut chunk finally slid free, and that click was so satisfying. The maple body feels solid without being too heavy to hold while you work. My brother-in-law is getting one for his birthday.

The sliding walnut chunks have just enough friction that you can't rush them, which made solving this way more satisfying than I expected. Took me a couple evenings to crack it, but the maple body feels solid enough to leave out on the coffee table.

I've never spent 45 minutes on a puzzle and enjoyed every second of it. The maple casing is gorgeous and the walnut pieces slide with this satisfying click once you figure out the right sequence. Gave it to my dad for his birthday and now he won't put it down.
